Mission and Values

To join God in His mission, to reach and disciple all people, by helping people (i.) build relationship with Jesus Christ, and (ii.) serve the Lord and others.

Meaningful Worship and Prayer…We believe that God desires an intimate relationship with every believer. Through prayer, meditation, studying the Scriptures, and worship, we can pursue and achieve intimacy with the Father, through Christ. Therefore, we value dynamic congregational worship unto the Lord. (John 4:23; Psalm150; Psalm 63:2-5)

    • Fellowship with Members, Family, and Friends… We believe that God has designed people to live in connection with community. In community, the virtues of care, accountability, fellowship, and a sense of belonging are celebrated. (Acts 2:44-47; Acts 20:7; Galatians 6:2)

    • Caring and Loving Ministry to All…We believe that God desires for the church to operate as a unified community of servants, free of partiality. Therefore, we value service. Men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts and talents demonstrate the concepts of unity, servanthood, ministry callings and empowerment. (I Corinthians 12 and 14; Romans 12; Nehemiah 1-2; Acts 6:2-5)

    • Missions and Evangelism…We believe that God desires that none should perish. Hence, Christ gave His followers the Great Commission so that the gospel could be shared, and disciples could be made in every nation. Therefore, we value missions. This includes the concepts of love-driven ministry, outreach in the Community, church-planting, and missionary ministry. (Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 15:1-2, 20; 2 Corinthians 8-9)

    • The Bible…We believe that God has spoken to us through the Scriptures. Therefore, we value the Bible as the rule of conduct and the ultimate authority. Anointed teaching of the Scriptures is the catalyst for life and church transformation. (Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16; James 1:23-25)

Making More and Better Disciples… We believe that God has mandated that the Church have this value as the centerpiece of its activity. Conversion, Edification, Maturation, Multiplication is the model for ministry activity that produces more and better disciples. From teaching to training, you will find that this value permeates much of our Church activity, because we value Discipleship. (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 2:2-5; Acts 9:31)
