What to Expect FAQs
What time should I arrive?
Worship services begin at 10 am on Sundays, so if you arrive by about 9:50, it will give us time to welcome you, help you find a seat, and show you around.
We would love if you could join us at 9 am on Sunday for The Compass Bible study, too! It's a relaxed, foundational Bible study where we encourage you to ask questions or just take it all in.
What should I wear?
Pastor Norris has been known to deliver the message in jeans and a polo shirts or a suit and tie and everything in between, and you'll see the same variety of dress when you arrive.
Sweats or jeans or dressed to the nines, whatever you decide to wear, it's fine! Really, wear what is comfortable. We only ask that you wear something!
What should I expect?
When you arrive, a greeter from the Welcome Ministry will greet you with your choice of 4-H greeting - Hello, Handshake, High-5, or Hug. Are greeters can help you find a comfortable seat and provide any assistance you might need to make your time with us comfortable.
The Sunday service lasts about 90 minutes. During this time, there will be music by our Worship and Fine Arts ministry. Feel free to participate by clapping or singing, or you can just enjoy the music - it's entirely up to you. There will be a practical, inspiring message from the Bible with immediate, life application points. Service will also include an offering or worship through giving time and announcements. Our goal is to create an experience that is engaging, meaningful, and empowering. After service, our pastor greets every member and visitor, so please don't leave before he can say hi to you.
